Twin Peaks Tuesdays @ the Northeast Kingdom

This is truly beautiful. I’ve have been a part of the cult of Twin Peaks for a few years now. I’ve done the whole deal; I’ve seen David Lynch speak, I’ve taken a pilgrimage to North Bend, WA, I even go into spontaneous Twin Peaks rants whenever I watch Sex and the City with my girlfriend.
As a Twin Peaker, I have noticed that it is hard to find people who share the same love and infatuation for, what can only be described as, the best series in TV history. Now that problem is solved. Thank you Northeast Kingdom.
Enjoy these pictures from North Bend:

The Double R Diner. Actually Called “Tweeds.”

Yours truly enjoying a slice of cherry pie and a DAMN fine cup of coffee. A few years back, the Tweed Cafe caught fire, and the inside was destroyed so it no longer looks as it did in Twin Peaks. The place is actually a terrible tourist trap but whatever.

The waterfall outside of the “Great Northern” is actually part of a Washington State Park and is quite amazing even outside of it’s legendary cult status.

I drove back and forth along this road about a dozen times looking for the exact spot where they took this shot. Since I didn’t bring a Twin Peaks video tape along with me as a reference, I had to go from memory. I took several pictures to make sure I got the right one. I think this is it. Look at the tree-line and imagine it more grown in.
